whole flax seeds (soaked for a couple of hours)
freshly ground flax seeds
pinch of celtic sea salt
tsp of extra virgin olive oil (optional)
To make them, soak your flax seeds in filtered water for a couple of hours. When they are nice and gooey, add your ground flax seeds, raw honey, sea salt, and cinnamon. You could also possibly add just a smidge of extra virgin olive oil to the mix as well.
Spread out on trays on the dehydrator. Dehydrate at 110 degrees. After about 6 hours, flip the crackers on tray over and then dehydrate until they are to your desired crispyness.
After you pull them off the dehydrator break them up into cracker sizes that you think are good.
You could use these to add crunchiness to your salads, for snacks for the kids, or as an alternative to bread to make sandwiches with.
