The body is amazing and it will tell you what you need if you listen. If you are constantly filling it with not as healthy choices though, it will continue to ask for those things.
When I started my journey into health many many years ago, that is how i started then as well I just started adding juice to my diet and then gradually taking one thing out at a time but adding in more and more good things.
I feel as if I am back at square one compared to where we were once upon a time. But the simple act of adding in green juices again, I have not had as many chocolate cravings and am able to put down the chips after just a few. I can tell it will only continue to get better as time goes on and more and more good foods are added in.
On a side note, I am glad that my diet of m&ms and potato chips has not put on more weight than I thought this last year maybe longer. I have made a personal goal to lose 10 to 18 pounds by my 40th birthday in September.
Youth does not stay forever (unfortunately) and neither does health if we do not take care of ourselves.
What healthy things can you add in to your diet this month? As you progress through the month, I would encourage you to think more about ADDING IN verses taking away. Really something as simple as that will make a difference with how one deals with it physical and mentally.
