Last night we had raw tabouli (made with cauliflower as the base), veggie burgers (walnuts, almonds, onions, carrots and some spices), carrot & veggie juice, and cheesecake. The cheese cake was truly scrumptious! It has been awhile since I had prepared it, and everyone enjoyed it and had multiple servings of it!
Everyone liked the veggie burgers. My son really liked the tabouli, my husband thought it was ok, while the ladies in the house (my daughter and myself) did not really enjoy it all.
Raw food days do tend to involve a little more preparation and planning. I spent most of the afternoon in the kitchen using my food processor which had not been out in like a year and getting stuff ready to go! The veggie burgers needed to be dehydrated so had to be prepared early. The cheesecake needed to set up in the freezer for a couple of hours so that also needed to be prepped early. It is do-able, you just need to think ahead a bit if you are going to do some gourmet raw meal plans!
