In our house this can prove challenging as there are so many limitations and basically, I have to make everything from scratch. My kids will be so much better for this in the long run, but for now? what do we do?
If we are on the go, here is a list of things that we will usually choose from:
-oranges or cuties
-bananas (you could do these pretty easy. we dont as none of us can eat them)
-raw macadamia nuts
If you have some time to make some stuff up beforehand that would make it easy to have stuff on hand too:
-raw veggie nut burgers
-raw hummus (you can make this out of sunflower seeds. C can't have that so i dont make this anymore but it is VERY tasty!)
-homemade veggie juices (make night before)
-homemade kale chips
-sweet potato chips (homemade)
-homemade flax crackers (you can make a lot of diff flavors)
-make some bread up for the week & make sandwiches
-turkey or chicken, if you have it already baked can turn it into a salad and use in your sandwiches, or you could just pack and go
I will try to add more to this list a little later as I am being beckoned by the children. But this is a good start!
