Monday is raw food day.
Tuesday is soup night.
Wednesday is aryuvedic night.
Thursday is Mexican.
Friday is macrobiotics.
Shabbat/Saturday is free.
Sunday is vegan, whatever I feel like making
We will continue having 8 to 16 oz of fresh squeezed veggie juice per day as well. That goes for the kids as well.
As the year progresses we will see what resonates with us the best if anything and perhaps switch to that style of eating.
Everyone really enjoyed the veggie burgers tonight. They were made from scratch an really delicious. We partnered them up with some buns, lettuce & tomatoes. The beetball soup, my daughter & husband really enjoyed it. My son and I had a hard time choking it down. I really DONT like beets, and while there was not a lot of beets in the balls I had a hard time getting past it. Anyhow. I was happy that my husband enjoyed the meal though. He can sometimes be hard to please and he is used to living on the road at out of restaurants. Surprise meals are always a gamble as to if it will be a yes or no. Thankfully tonight was successful. We enjoyed the meal with a glass of green juice (pineapple, lemon, celery, ginger, beet leaves, and spinach). The juice has become my favorite part.
So from my table to yours, I hope your year is off to a wonderful start!
