Yudah who is the healthiest of the 3, got them the least. He is the oldest and i had expected him to get it the worst. Chanah who is the youngest and i expected to not get it as bad, got it the worst. It makes sense. E and C have the most health issues. So it only makes sense that their body would not be able to fight it as good as yudahs is able to.
I feel badly that they are sick. But i am glad that they will have this overwith and wont be able to get it again in the future.
I took some pics of them. They were LESS than pleased. I got a funny one of yman making the funniest horrid face. I promised them I would not post them online though.
Tomorrow i will try to sneak out to the HFS and get some more vitamin C to try to help assist their recovery. I am told Vitamin E & A also help assist in recovery process. I was also told to give them lots of easy to digest raw foods as they try to make their way back to recovery. fresh juices, homemade applesauces....so this is what we have been doing. Need to get some more sauerkraut & kombucha going. So that is what we will do. Hopefully they will not take long to recover.
On another note, E took his repeat GI panel shortly after Thanksgiving am awaiting the results of those. Should be anytime now. C did a repeat panel for food sensitivities. I will do her GI panel after Chanukah. Though i did purchase already - wanted to wait a little bit longer for her to do the test. E will be re-doing his vitamin/mineral deficiency test here soon also. I will share some of that after i get results. Although i dont expect any great improvements or anything for either of them. I also did a repeat on myself. I do expect some improvements on myself though. I will share that here as well. I believe that my system has improved greatly. Although i am still trying to find balance for myself I seem to be going through a phase of craving a ton of protein. I am sure that will balance out at some point. That is just really what my body is wanting right now. I dont know if it is for healing? I need to do some more research on this. I have heard that protein can help assist in healing. I would also like to get the vitamin/mineral deficiency panel done on myself soon. I had some bloodwork done at the orthopedic dr a few weeks ago. He was looking for rheumatoid arthritis. which THANKFULLY he did not find. yay! (he was looking for this due to issues i have had with my knees, neck and ribs since car accident) He wanted to do a double knee MRI but sadly could not afford that right now. That is ok. On his blood work it did show i do have low WBC, neutrophils and high MCH. I have a appt with my dr in january so guess i will ask her at that time what that means. Doing some research on my own that shoudl mean i should feel pretty sick? On the whole part, i feel pretty good. Though i definitely dont feel like exercising other than some walking. The thought of doing anything else just seems not do-able right now which is funny since i love working out and it was my job for so long. I guess when I finally had to quit due to ongoing pain i had been having since the car accident, my body just decided no more. I do hope some day to be able to do some working out again! But not right now. I am wondering what the bloodwork stuff all means though. Hopefully i will have some answers along with vitamin/mineral stuff and gut in january. The other possibilities i had read about the low numbers are allergies - maybe i am missing something and am eating something that i should not be but have not figured out what it is yet? and another is vitamin deficiency. It is possible due to my gut not being in good health that i did have some deficiencies there as well. I am hopeful that is all that it is.
On a totally other note, Chanukah is coming and the kids are asking me what are we going to use as prizes for playing dreidels. I have decided to make cupcakes this year for them instead of chocolate. Latkes - well i am going to try to figure out a carrot/zuchinni one for them. one with coconut flour and the other with almond flour. so everybody can eat. (then of course i will make some traditional for my hubby and his kids) and matzah ball soup. I need to concoct a matzah ball with the flours that they can have. so be on the lookout for some new recipes to be coming soon! And if you haven't taken a peek at the recipes recently, go take a look. dawn, my dear co-partner on this site did some really great upgrades over there! we are both very excited about them :)
