Overall I am a pretty healthy person. One area I am really weak in though, is drinking water! Especially in the winter, I just do not like water all that much. It doesn't sound good. It is cold here and well just not interested. Recently I went to the doctor for an annual physical. My blood work all came out great - my adrenals and thyroid actually came up to normal. last year they had been borderline. Sometimes I don't remember things very well - like where I put my keys or my wallet, but I also have a lot on my plate, whether with kids, or school, or girl scouts, or running the daily chores of the house, or whatever. The Dr's RX for me was to drink more water and to practice more yoga. Have some decompression time, time that is set aside just for me.
After successfully surviving Girl Scout cookie season, and really getting going with school this semester, my goal for the month of march is going to be to get my water intake from very little to 8 cups of water a day. of course, I am going to add a little doterra lemon oil to it which will help to alkalinize my body as well.
Next month when I have successfully achieved making this a habit, I will move on to my next "goal" or habit that I want to form.
If you are on the path to health or wanting to get on the path to health, I would truly encourage you to baby step it. See the big picture! But break it down. make it bite size and palatable so you can truly reach that ultimate goal! Set yourself up for SUCCESS!! We all know you can do it! Just need to make it manageable so that you can actually get there.
What are you health goals? What are areas that you can improve on? What is one thing that you can choose to try to work on this month to make a step towards a more healthy you? Share with me! Let's keep each other accountable. By speaking it out that is the first step! the next step is taking action! check back in with me and let me know how you are doing!
I wish you all a very successful and health building month!
